The event, held on March 21, 2024, welcomed the presence of Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry Giorgos Papanastasiou, alongside other dignitaries, partners, and members of the press.
The spotlight shone on Martin Brandenburger, Lidl Cyprus Board Chairman, as he unveiled the company’s strategic blueprint aimed at bolstering the Cypriot economy, society, and environment. Insights from the recent socio-economic impact study for the fiscal year 2022-2023 were also shared, highlighting the positive influences of Lidl Cyprus on the nation’s economic and social fabric.

The company’s three-year development plan was also revealed, which includes the launch of new stores and a hefty investment exceeding 30 million euros in its retail and distribution network.
Attendees were briefed on Lidl Cyprus’ financial year achievements, including a significant price reduction policy on numerous private label products and its recent accolade as the “No.1 company in Cyprus with the best value for money for the year 2023/2024” at the Best Buy Awards.
