A Tapestry of Queerness in Cinema: The Blue Caftan Screening
In a unique cultural exchange, the Cyprus Film Days International Festival and Queer Wave, the Cyprus LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, have extended an open invitation to film enthusiasts for a special screening of The Blue Caftan. This poignant film by Moroccan director Maryam Touzani will be showcased at ARTos House in Nicosia on Sunday 7 April 2024 at 7 pm.
The event not only presents an opportunity to witness the intersection of traditional culture and contemporary narratives but also celebrates the first collaboration between the two prominent festivals. The screening is a prelude to the 22nd edition of Cyprus Film Days, set to commence on 12 April 2024.
