Street Closure for Inauguration Projects in Larnaca
In a significant move to enhance the cultural and aesthetic appeal of Larnaca, the city prepares for a grand inauguration event that will see the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, unveiling two pivotal projects. The Larnaca Municipality has announced that Piale Pasha Street, along with all adjacent side streets, will be temporarily closed to traffic to facilitate this event.
The projects, aimed at revitalizing the city’s charm, include the restoration and improvement of the facades of buildings lining Piale Pasha Street. This initiative is expected to breathe new life into the historic thoroughfare, enhancing its architectural heritage. Residents and visitors should take note that the closures will be in effect from 15:00 to 20:00 on Friday, 5th April.
