70s Classics in a Different Way
As the sun sets on Wednesday, the cultural hub Technopolis 20 in Paphos will resonate with the nostalgic chords of the 1970s. Three talented musicians, Georgia Kombou on the mandolin, Konstantinos Economides on classical guitar, and Sotiris Konstanti on vocals, are set to serenade audiences with a selection of timeless tunes. The evening promises a revival of classics such as “Let it be,” “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” and more, offering a fresh take on these beloved songs.
The following evening, the vibrant energy shifts to Nicosia where the local quartet Fuzz Bus will electrify New Division with their soulful blend of funk and pop-rock. Their performance, starting at 9:30 pm, is expected to weave together jazz influences with other genres, creating a dynamic live music experience.

Additional live music events on Friday include a piano recital by Manolis Neophytou at Technopolis 20, a cover band performance at Sarah’s Jazz Club blending soul, jazz, and indie-pop, and an acoustic jazzy set by Trio in Cahoots at Vinylio Wine Etc.
