Epic Welcomes Monaco Royalty
In a significant event that underscores the growing stature of Cyprus in the telecommunications sector, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, accompanied by the management team of Monaco Telecom, visited the Nicosia headquarters of Epic on April 18, 2024. The visit highlighted the strong ties between the two entities and showcased Epic’s recent technological strides.
Epic’s leadership, including Chairman Kikis Kyriakides and CEO Thanos Chronopoulos, provided the royal visitor with insights into the company’s dedication to innovation within Cyprus’ telecom market. HSH Prince Albert was informed about Epic’s state-of-the-art mobile network, which has received multiple accolades, and its rapidly expanding fibre network, recently recognized as the Fastest Fixed Network in Cyprus by Ookla.
CEO Chronopoulos expressed his honor in hosting HSH Prince Albert, noting that the visit reaffirmed Epic’s pursuit of excellence and acknowledged their efforts towards fostering innovation and growth. Martin Peronnet, CEO of Monaco Telecom, also conveyed his contentment with Epic’s success in Cyprus and emphasized the significance of the visit as a testament to the ongoing commitment of both the company and the Principality to Epic’s development.
During his tour, HSH Prince Albert explored various departments within Epic’s headquarters and an Epic retail store, engaging with employees and delving into the operations of each division.
