The day is set to commence with clear skies, but those planning outdoor activities should be aware of the likelihood of increased cloud coverage and the potential for local showers as the afternoon approaches.
Those heading to the coast or planning to set sail will be interested to know that winds will be light and variable, providing generally pleasant conditions for most water-based activities. Mariners should note that these gentle breezes are expected to reach Force 3 on the Beaufort scale, with a forecasted increase to Force 4 as the day progresses. Consequently, the sea state will transition from smooth to slight, which should still allow for a range of maritime pursuits.
Temperature-wise, it’s a mixed bag across the region. Inland areas and western coasts can anticipate a warm 25 C, while other coastal regions may experience slightly higher temperatures of around 26 C. For those venturing into the higher mountains, it’s advisable to pack a sweater as temperatures are predicted to linger around the cooler 15 C mark.
