Immigration Operation in Paphos
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the diligent officers of the asylum service conducted a targeted operation in Paphos, leading to the discovery of six individuals residing illegally within the Republic’s borders. The operation, which unfolded between 5:30 am and 7:30 am, was the result of a tip-off that prompted the immigration cy authorities to act swiftly.
According to the Paphos police spokesperson, Michalis Nicolaou, the immigration department Cyprus executed a well-coordinated raid that resulted in the apprehension of the group. The individuals, all of whom are identified as Georgian nationals, were found sharing an apartment, which had become their makeshift home.
