An Evening of Elegance for a Noble Cause
In a splendid fusion of glamour and philanthropy, the Karaiskakio Foundation is joining forces with the Ayia Napa Marina to host “The Glowmorous Dinner,” a charity event designed to support the Foundation’s specialized Children’s Cancer Centre. The event, scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2024, at 8pm, promises an unforgettable night at the Marina’s Event Center, featuring the renowned Greek singer Despina Vandi.
The Karaiskakio Foundation stands as a beacon of hope, boasting the world’s largest donor registry in terms of population ratio. Its commitment to saving lives is evident in the staggering number of transplants provided—over 800 to patients from 35 different countries. The Foundation’s dedication extends to offering more than 10,000 specialized diagnostic tests annually for various cancers and genetic diseases.
Ayia Napa Marina, the co-organizer and venue host for the charity dinner, is deeply invested in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The Marina’s strategic development strategy is centered around supporting sustainable programs that enhance the quality of life and well-being within Cypriot society.
The evening will be graced by the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives Annita Demetriou, who will preside over the event. Attendees can look forward to a night of elegance, entertainment, and most importantly, generosity towards a cause that touches many lives.
Tickets for this exclusive event are priced at €200 and can be secured at the Foundation’s event page. The event has garnered substantial support from the corporate community, with Platinum Sponsors including Prospectacy and Ecommbx. The Gold Sponsors feature Costas Papaellinas Organization and Scaffolding Solutions, while Silver Sponsors include Charalambos & Elena Pattichis Foundation, NetU Consultants Ltd, Safe Bulkers Inc., and ISX Financial. Aegean has stepped up as the Official Airline Sponsor, with Grecian Sands Hotel providing hospitality sponsorship. Ensuring the event’s message reaches far and wide, Sigma TV and Radio First have come on board as Communication Sponsors.
As the date approaches, anticipation builds for an evening that will not only shine in its splendor but will also contribute significantly to the fight against childhood cancer.
