Crackdown on Illegal Hair Transplant Operations in Northern Cyprus
In a recent turn of events, Turkish Cypriot doctors have raised the alarm about the rise of unlicensed individuals performing hair transplants in the northern region of Cyprus. The Cyprus Turkish Medical Association (KTTB) has reported that a police raid was conducted on an illegal clinic, resulting in the discovery of unauthorized workers engaging in medical practices without proper credentials.

The KTTB has issued a stern reminder that it is illegal for physicians who are not members of their association to practice medicine in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). They have called upon the north’s ‘health ministry’ to implement more “effective and adequate” inspections of medical facilities to curb such unlawful activities.
