President Christodoulides is set to meet with the Emir of Qatar during his official visit to Cyprus on Tuesday, May 28th. The discussions will revolve around enhancing bilateral relations, regional developments such as the Amalthea initiative, the Cyprus issue, and matters concerning EU-Qatar relations.
Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is scheduled to arrive in Cyprus late on Monday, May 27th. The following morning will begin with a formal reception at the presidential palace. Following this, President Christodoulides will engage in a private meeting with the Emir, setting the stage for more extensive talks between the delegations of both nations.
