Two women in Paphos have reported a harrowing incident to the local police, stating that they were victims of a robbery at gunpoint. The police are actively searching for two male suspects in connection with the crime.
Details of the Incident
The two Ukrainian women reported that the robbery occurred around 1:40 PM on Friday. According to their account, the main door of their residence had been left open, allowing the two unknown men to enter. Once inside, the assailants pushed one of the women into the apartment at gunpoint and demanded money.
The women claimed that the robbers made off with a total of €1,830. The police were promptly called to the scene following the incident.
Description of the Suspects
The victims provided detailed descriptions of the two men involved in the robbery. Both suspects are described as being of strong build, standing between 1.75m and 1.8m tall, and appearing to be between 35 and 40 years old.
- First Suspect: The first man was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and had his face covered with a blue-grey bandana. He was also wearing long dark-colored trousers and boots.
- Second Suspect: The second man was described as wearing a long-sleeved dark blue cardigan, shorts, beige and yellow shoes, and cloth gloves.
Paphos Police have stated that their examinations to locate the suspects are ongoing. They are urging anyone with information related to the robbery to come forward and assist in their investigation.
