Shots Fired at Local Coffee Shop
Authorities swiftly secured the area overnight and have begun collecting testimonies from witnesses present at the scene. Examination of CCTV footage has confirmed that the shots were fired by a hooded individual, who appeared to be on foot and aimed specifically at the glass windows of the coffee shop.
Police believe that the attack was intended to intimidate rather than harm, as the shots were directed at the building rather than any individuals in the vicinity. The investigation has so far established that a pistol was used in the attack.
The ongoing investigation is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and local Larnaca police. They are working diligently to gather more information and bring clarity to this unsettling event.
