Limassol Mall to Feature 90 Stores, Cinema, and Ample Parking Spaces

Two new shopping malls, located near each other in Limassol, have received environmental approval from the government. The first is the “Limassol Mall,” owned by C.A.C. Papantoniou Ltd, with an estimated cost of €95 million. The second is named “The Mall of Limassol,” owned by Atterbury Europe, in Mesa Geitonia, with an estimated project cost of €80 million.

The “Limassol Mall”

The “Limassol Mall” will feature an underground level, a ground floor, a mezzanine, and two additional floors, offering a total rentable area of 28,434 square metres. The total covered areas of the development will amount to 76,392 square metres. The “Limassol Mall” will have approximately 90 stores, 6 kiosks, 2 large restaurants, 2 cafes, a food court with 7 restaurants and 2 kiosks, and a dining area with 300 indoor and 200 outdoor seats. It will also feature a 5-screen cinema, an electronic gaming arcade, and 1,278 parking spaces (including 21 spaces for people with disabilities and 8 for families), and restrooms.

The “Mall of Limassol”

The “Mall of Limassol” will comprise a basement, a ground floor, a mezzanine, two upper floors, and a specially designed roof terrace. These floors will include over 50 stores, a supermarket, a cinema, and a children’s play area. It will also feature an urban square at the junction of Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue and October 1 Street, an organised food court with cafes, restaurants, counters, a dining area, restrooms, a market for local products and small producers, storage areas, and mechanical rooms.

The mall will provide 1,045 parking spaces, with 157 above ground and the remaining in the mezzanine and basement levels. Out of the total spaces, 35 will be designated for people with disabilities.

These new shopping malls are set to redefine the retail landscape in Limassol by offering diverse shopping experiences and amenities. With their recent environmental approval, both projects are poised to move forward, promising to bring new economic opportunities and enhanced lifestyle options to the region.
