In a routine inspection at the Ayios Dhometios crossing point in Nicosia, customs officers made a significant discovery on Monday morning. A driver attempting to smuggle untaxed cigarettes into the Republic of Cyprus, with an eventual destination of the United Kingdom, was apprehended.
