The Embassy of Ukraine in Cyprus has issued a rebuttal to media reports claiming that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has become the owner of a casino resort in the occupied north. In a statement released today, the embassy denied the allegations, stating that the story “is yet another lie aimed at discrediting Ukraine and its leadership in the eyes of the world community.”
Refuting False Claims
The statement reads, “Russian propaganda spreads a fake story that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has allegedly become the owner of one of the largest casinos in Europe, which is located in Cyprus. However, the publication provides no evidence to support its claim. The information itself is false.”
The Embassy of Ukraine in Cyprus refuted claims that President Zelenskyy owns a casino resort in the occupied north, calling it a lie spread by Russian propaganda. The embassy emphasized that there is no evidence to support the allegations and warned against trusting unreliable sources and manipulations.
The embassy added that the report “is intended to create diplomatic tensions between Ukraine and Cyprus.”
