This alliance will enable GBCY members to utilise services and solutions provided by the CYS, boosting progress towards a safer, more sustainable future, while also improving overall competitiveness.

The partnership, unveiled on January 5, 2024, follows a meeting between Pambos Kammas, CYS’s Director of Standardisation, and Savvas Kyriakides, GBCY’s Founder and President. The partnership’s key objectives include enhancing GBCY members’ networking opportunities in standardisation, providing industry-specific trends and updates on market standards to improve the quality, integrity and safety of products and services.

Furthermore, the partnership will see companies take part in local and international business events, reinforcing knowledge-sharing and best practise standards. Both CYS and GBCY shared a joint statement highlighting the synergy between their organisations and the joint goal of building a robust, scalable strategic partnership with a direct bearing on performance, sustainable development, and adaptability in the ever-changing business landscape.
